‘Sangha’ members from the ‘heart’

The actual deeds of those members with a part-time ‘heart’

That is the webmaster and self-appointed judge and jury and controller of the web propaganda. That’s a person that actually never accepted to even talk directly with ‘fellow sangha members’ as he calls them, instead he uses emails or chat to communicate short instructions. Never any kind words, inquiry about one’s health or any other exchanges than what he needs from you. But, he is quicker than thunder to publish any attack against people he and his master Andrea Good feel should be outcast, for instance, Pragya, Khempo Sonam, Dawa, Marici, against whom he would immediately publish accusatory articles on the so-called ‘official’ website of Mr Ramlal Bomjon. He is also the guy who published to the amazement of everyone comments supporting Vladimir Putin. It took a strong reaction coming from the Vietnamese born president Kim Huyen Nguyen to have the comments removed. So this is the guy that never actually behaved in a compassionate, brotherly way towards others, and he tells others and explains to them the ‘spiritual doctrine for Dharma, Marga, Mukti, and Moksha’. He says that this website spreads ‘elaborate lies mixed with truth’, not even clarifying what is truth and what he qualifies as the lies. It is worth underlining that every single fact presented in this website comes from either the victims themselves AND/OR from direct witnesses to the events mentioned here that corroborate the statements of the victims. When the numerous source tell the same thing, then we evaluate the information as sufficiently reliable to publish it here. Yet not all the information that we have received has been published for part of it involves people that are still in danger and in fear of reprisal should they be linked as the source of the information. The facts presented already are alone grave enough to make it absolutely necessary for the world to be informed about the dangers of a cult that has very little respect for fellow human beings, whether they are villagers-neighbors, journalists from the local or international press, young enthusiastic first-time visitors or former devotees, or even animals taken under the so-called ‘protection’ of Mr Ramlal Bomjon. Before going public every possible attempt was made to try to correct in a truly compassionate way the harm done to so many people who genuinely wanted to contribute to the development of a ‘truly’ compassionate and caring community, inclusive of EVERY single sentient being. These attempts were met with more new scandals and outrageous deeds all the way to the point that any sincere and truly caring member of that community was left with no other choice than to separate themselves from the community to at least avoid being instrumental in even indirectly helping the continued pattern of harm to others.

Joan Stanley-Baker

Joan Stanley Baker

What can appear at first glance as a sympathetic old lady albeit harassing, self-centered, self-glorifying and in constant need of imposing to others her biased views. Her degree in Art history is far from qualifying her as an expert in Buddhism, something almost everyone has noticed clearly when reading the texts she writes with a tremendous emphasis and lyricism. She sells herself all around the place as the ‘discoverer’ of the next Buddha-Maitreya, and serves a very down to earth goal, that of bringing as many ‘wealthy’ Chinese guru-seeking potential donors to the group. She is totally blind to the efforts that her presence in Sindhupalchowk require in terms of preparations for her visits. Young almost kids, and youngsters were used as hard labor to make the path to reach the remote location of the so-called ‘Maitri-center’. She behaves a bit like a local star expecting everyone to be at her disposal, to be able to disturb Mr Ramlal Bomjon whenever she wants, to tell others how things should be done. She engages in regular rivalries with Andrea Good, and the two of them, both act as some sort of Mother Superiors and self-proclaimed co-gurus towards the rest of the pretty heterogeneous dislocated community of hard-core fanatics.

Ivy Jugooa – aka Jyampa Lhaden

Ivy Jugooa

That’s the so proud ‘director’ of the international ‘sangha’ whatever that means. That’s the woman who tells during a recorded Skype call that she would be ready to jump from a window or even kill for Mr Ramlal Bomjon if that was asked from her. She is also the one calling the victims of illegal detention ‘witches’ who deserved everything that was done to them. That person was also asking all around the place that we put her paintings on the websites of Mr Ramlal Bomjon, officially to donate the proceeds of sales of her pretty dubious art for the organization of Mr Ramlal Bomjon. When you talk with her every other sentence she makes is something that would raise the hair on the body of any normal healthy human being. Her devotion is mixed with a form of violent fanaticism that makes her totally disqualified to have any active role in any other normal community. The very fact that she is maintained together with all the other scandalous members as the core of that creed is in it-self characterizing the type of creed this group has turned into.

Michael Leon – aka Jyampa Dorje

Mike Leon

That guy is supposed to be a monk. Like all the other ‘monks’ of Mr Ramlal Bomjon he never undertook any proper training or education, he has been given the disguise of a monk, the robe and taught the jargon of hollow Sanskrit words repeated ad vitam eternam, but in practice when he visited California to officially ‘help’ the Vietnamese born president Kim Huyen Nguyen, he would rather spend his time playing video games and slot machines, than performing any actual ‘spiritual’ or ‘helping’ deeds. He then left to work to become the star of the caravan of American born so-called guru Ganga Nath to tour a show called “The seeds of Loving Kindness” where they were selling to the public the story of Mike Leon the ‘monk’ of Mr Ramlal Bomjon to gullible Americans. In a later article I will publish the emails of the Vietnamese president Kim, complaining about his attitude and behavior, complaining that he is wearing jeans instead of wearing the ‘monk’ disguise. So in effect that guy is at best used to make some propaganda and make the rest of the crowd believe there are actual monks that have been trained by Mr Ramlal Bomjon.

Tomas Henryk Tarnawsky – aka Tom Dorje – aka Jyampa Kalshang Jinpa – aka Guru Marga Guru

Tomas Henryk Tarnawsky

What a series of titles and names, a bit like his master Mr Ramlal Bomjon he loves titles and feeling self-important. If that was the only reproach one could have against him, it wouldn’t be such a big deal. But unfortunately that’s far from being the case. This is one of the key actors involved in several of the biggest scandals of violence. This is the guy caught on camera by 5 or 6 different journalists running to attack them and to violently steal their still and video cameras. This is the guy about whom 3 different victims give horrible details of violence. He is one of the main executioners of the violence. He is the right hand of Mr Ramlal Bomjon and executes blindly anything the latter asks. So when a guy like that writes: “I continued searching for life inspiration to open myself to true love and to learn truly to love others”, one should be totally cautious in interpreting that strange desire to ‘love others’ in the light of the violence that he has manifested at so many occasions. He is a talented linguist, judging by the quality of the English used there, or the text might have been redacted by an English speaker, but the rest of his propaganda writings are as hollow as an advertising about bubble gum. He is very much like Andrea Good and Joan Stanley Baker over-selling himself as a quasi-guru, who achieved not eating for 16 days. Who on earth cares whether you eat or not if it is resulting in being a violent person harming others, whether they are journalists, women, or any one else for a matter of fact! His is selling the propaganda that Mr Ramlal Bomjon is “a most kind and humble human being”. Never heard of humble human beings requiring from others to bow to them, decorating themselves with a bunch of pompous titles, and having kids and others do for you all possible chores, while he himself never actually moves even his little finger to help someone personally and directly. He needs the money and hard labor of others to make ‘kind’ donations to first a huge number of people in announcements that ends up not even reach a third of what was announced. So contrary to the assertion of Mr Tarnawsky, no one has any wishes or desires to proclaim false-guru with the intention of getting rid of Mr Ramlal Bomjon. The only single minded intention that underlines all the efforts of this website is to make sure that the public is at least warned about the things going on in and around the organization of Mr Bomjon. When Mr Tarnawsky says that it was without ‘consulting’ anyone and according to false ‘rumors’ that things were disclosed through this website, one can really tell that it is a big lie, the “consultation and discussion” was there all along, for many years the president was almost nothing else but discussing all those topics, and with quite a few other people that those scandals – and we are not talking here about rumors, but about actual events, facts shared in secrecy by the president herself with him, by the victims, by direct witnesses to the events, by the testimony of the journalists involved in the violence Mr Tarnawsky exercised against them, by devotees that were there and didn’t know what to make out of what they saw with their own eyes and through what he saw himself while he was there. If it was only from a single testimonial of someone not really sure about what he saw, one could qualify this as ‘hear-say’. The problem is that it has been corroborated by more than just a single source. The horrible part of this is that those acts of violence have been done in total impunity, in front of many witnesses. The press was involved in quite a number of those scandals, Mr Ramlal Bomjon himself was filmed explaining what happened. Explaining the ludicrous scheme of even thinking about locking up villagers, even if they are drunk. Every single event that involved violence, has been done because of this feeling of ‘authority’ that is reinforced between a crowd of fanatical worshipers and the man who imposes on everyone that he is the ‘guru’ and ‘no-one’ should disturb him.

Throughout the ages, the arhants who went to fullfil their vows (tapasya), didn’t require to violently impose their missions, they all did find the right places of seclusion. The incapacity of Mr Bomjon to even have a normal explanation and show his compassion towards those that ‘seemingly’ disturb him, tells more about the scope and reach of his compassion than about any form of inherent ‘authority’. He doesn’t need an pseudo-army of pseudo-monks to protect him. He just needs to be compassionate for real!

Even without relying on any other witnesses just relying on Mr Bomjon explaining himself to the police when interrogated what happened, that alone is sufficient for any honest and decent person to refuse to be an accessory in any way shape or form to the acts of violence hence crimes committed in the name of a ‘supposed or perceived authority” by Mr Ramlal Bomjon to justify the way he treats other human beings or the orders he gives that result in terrible outcomes for the animals he is supposed to protect. So when Mr Tarnawsky would take concrete steps to repair the harm he has caused, then and only then, anything that Mr Tarnawsky writes could have any value. That guy never apologized to anyone he has hurt. One can really only question the morality of a person that actively participates in the detention of other human beings.

If there had been a genuine pursuit of compassion towards all living beings, there would have never been any detentions, never been any fights with villagers, never been any need to attack journalists and steal their equipment, if Mr Ramlal Bomjon had truly achieved enlightenment he would have never needed to hide the truth about his sexual activities, to hide the truth about the abortions, about the birth of his son. If he had really fulfilled his penance he wouldn’t need to keep talking about ‘his authority’, he wouldn’t need violence to assert his positions. If truth was important there would have never been any need to forge a birth certificate. There wouldn’t been any needs to publish on his official site any defamation against anyone. If he achieved really enlightenment he wouldn’t need to make threats, he wouldn’t need to ask one devotee about the other, he wouldn’t need to hide that he didn’t write all of his speeches, he would be like the historical Buddha capable of explaining his doctrines intelligently and coherently, he would be an example of righteousness and compassion even toward those that ‘disturb’ him and conquer their hearts with his own genuine kindness and compassion. There would be no need either to announce pompous projects that get never achieved, to announce that 3000 villagers would receive food, medical supplies, equipment for building temporary shelters in order to collect money and in the end judging only through the statements published on the ‘official’ website that barely 600 only were helped. We wouldn’t be the witnesses of every single outrageous claim of project ending up at best into a ridiculously small version of it, or at worst ending up into a disgusting damage of the pristine environment with concrete constructions built without permit and without following the legal process for constructions.

Conclusion

One should not confuse meditation skills, even the ability to meditate without food in itself is not a proof of enlightenment. It’s just a demonstration of skills at meditating or at best a mastery of tummo. Anyone can create a cult or a religion if one wants to. That doesn’t make that cult or religion the manifestation of the Ultimate Truth.

But as soon as violence starts manifesting itself, and keeps coming back around the same group of people and actors, there is no way one can stay a silent witness to that, and continue supporting, financing and promoting that cause. And as that violence keeps manifesting itself, the only decent thing left to do is to warn everyone of the dangers of that cult. Had there been any honest steps taken to correct the lies, the abuses, the mismanagement, the controlling damaging behavior of some members like Ivy Jugooa, Andrea Good, Semyon, Joan Stanley Bakers, the violence expressed so publicly by Mr Tarnawsky, there would have never been the need to put all that dirty laundry out in public, instead the genuine and true efforts to achieve the good and act compassionately towards all living beings would have encountered the understanding and the help of many of those that left to bring and organize the proper mechanisms for diligence, honesty, non-violence and genuine care for all living beings.

Yet all that happened was going the opposite way of that direction. Dissimulation and lies served as tools of propaganda to sell a myth that evidently serves only the purpose of collecting money. Nothing was ever done to correct or to prevent the damaging attitudes and behaviors that created the climate of fanaticism and intolerance which resulted in so many instances of violence and scandals. There has never been any caring and brotherly attitude from the main actors/groupies around Mr Ramlal Bomjon towards the rest of the devotees. Instead just a dogmatic arrogant and pretty stupid attitude that had and has nothing to do with kindness and compassion. Waving around words like Dharma, Sangha, Maitri, Moksha, Mukti, is not enough to make that creed reliable or credible. It can certainly fool some people, but in the end it is through the actual deeds that one judges the message and its validity. The heart of honest and truthful people is moved by good deeds not by scandals and violence.

Bomjon’s self-annihilation farce

Since everything revolves around a myth type marketing construction where content matters very little. It is mainly declarative without any actual clarity, one can only conclude that clarity and precision are of no interest to Mr Bomjon.

Bomjon’s self-annihilation farce

Translator’s error or plain none-sense

“The extinction of self is salvation; the annihilation of self is the condition of enlightenment.” – The Buddha

“I come in Self-annihilation and the Grandeur of Inspiration.” William Blake

New path, old paths, authority, submission, new rituals, and the flow of untranslated, unexplained words like maitri bhav, marga guru, guru marga, that’s all that is in display on the window shop of Bomjon’s organization. While in all the major religions, Buddhism included, self-annihilation is actually the goal, here the new super creed of Mr Bomjon turns things upside down, and makes of self-annihilation a threat towards anyone who would opposes what he calls ‘his dharma’.

In stark contrast with all the other Buddhist traditions Ram Bomjon just makes outlandish claims with no explanation or without bringing any elements conducive to understanding. In effect he doesn’t teach anything, as most of what he states is either already known, so nothing new there, or is so far fetched that it serves more the purpose of ridiculing him rather than being of utility to anyone. If any of his claims had any validity we would have by now 10 years later have seen people change for the better thanks to his ‘new’ doctrine. Yet all we really ‘see’ is scandals, violence, his closest entourage executing the most outrageous whims he has at the detriment of anyone standing on their way. We have seen that with every single place that he took possession of. Huge patches of Halkhoriya destroyed, concrete constructions being made without any permit, fights and arguments with neighboring villagers, attacks on journalists, court cases being brought which the entourage does its best to hide from the public, and the list of scandals goes on…

So from compassion for all beings, barely after having uttered the mantra, starts the segregation. He divides beings into 2 camps, the ones to be ‘extinguished’, or self-annihilated, and the ones in the new Disney wonderland of his Super Maitreyian system, submissive, obedient, and renouncing of the ‘old paths’. Not to forget a culinary guide which resolves also dietary questions such as garlic, tumeric, etc. all the way to matrimonial advisory from someone who has a unique understanding of matrimony himself, some self-annihilation recipes and two tea spoons of authority mixed with renouncing the old paths.

While the original Buddha had education and truly embodied his teachings, this wannabe booda only thinks about his own authority, and settles any arguments with violence or by banning even his closest assistants, then blaming them for all the evils he has himself generated. Quite a difference, one would have hoped that with the times we live in, any enlightened being wishing to help others as the original Buddha did or many Bodhisattvas throughout history did, we would get someone that has both the intelligence of this time and era and the means to transmit some valuable insights to people. From the get go, he has been attracting crowds and money and his closest entourage fights for their spot under the projectors, hands wide open to collect any personal benefit they might get for themselves. No wonder that so many people keep leaving his organization as soon as they realize what they are dealing with.

One path is here followed for sure and that is the path of absurdity. It’s not the lack of absurd creeds that is missing in the world. So if that’s just another one, why even bother? The problem with this one is it’s hidden violent means that have created numerous victims, and on the other hand the persistence to hide, cover up, lie, and justify at time the emanating forms of violence, the corruption, the squandering of donation moneys and the inner fights among the flock to gain prominence in the group that have tainted the proclaimed goals of that creed.

When people were illegally detained was it according to the new path or was it just something in between two path and there was some traffic jam in the middle? When Mr Bomjon entertains sexual encounters with several girls beside his wife/girl-friend, is it also a new chapter of the new path we missed reading about, or another traffic jam? This love of titles is it also something instrumental to showing more compassion towards ‘all beings’? Are helicopter flights part of the new Holisticfal ecological spiritual Earth-Light-Path and what is the carbon footprint of the flights, and how much does each flight cost?

The messages Ram Bomjon or of his self-styled promoters spread are relying purely on people’s gullibility or lack of knowledge to establish itself, it reiterates a myth over and over again, the myth of a penance (tapasya) that lasted ‘uninterruptedly without food, without sleep, and blablah’ till the end, and it was for the benefit of all living beings. Yet at best and that is very optimistically we have no more than 10 consecutive months of ‘apparently’ uninterrupted meditation. That in itself is already glorious coming then from a young country side boy. The problem is that right then and there big claims were made, the marketers were working hard at selling the myth. From 10 month onward in the 6 years period there were numerous ‘interruptions’ in the meditation process. Some by others, some by the wishes of Ram Bomjon himself. He travelled, changed places, disappeared, reappeared, said he would be at Gadhi Mai, didn’t in the end, etc… Only from reading the reports of those days one can without any difficulty establish that the term ‘uninterrupted period of 6 years’ is totally mythical.

No one would really blame him if he had food, had sex with a girl, or lost his temper a few times, but was resolute in pursuing compassion through his own actions too, for all beings. It is his orders, wishes, and personal actions that have led to the dramatic consequences lived by some of those that have crossed his lack of self-control and become the victims of his reactions. When you pursue compassion you do not divide people, you do not detain people, you do not fight with villagers. Then when you call your system “Holistical spiritual Ecology” you do not destroy a huge patch of the pristine Halkhoriya jungle in which you are supposed to have reached enlightenment, you do not hold captive animals and neglect them till they all die, you don’t try to build concrete buildings without permit in that forest. Also you do not try to collect the gossips of one against the other, you do not submit your own girl-friend to humiliating treatment, you do not engage lightly in sexual encounters with other girls and have them bare the consequences of your carelessness.

Besides what does “Holistic spiritual Ecology” even really mean, seems in contradiction with a formerly declared rule not to make distinctions between material and spiritual. When you really examine almost each sentence contains contradictions and none sense. The only really holistic thing you can find in that creed is a bunch of holistic inconsistencies and contradictions, mostly contradictions between the propaganda and the actions carried out.

Because the deeds are in stark contrast with the proclamations on compassion, because those deeds involved violence and caused lasting consequences on the victims, because the victims are left un-cared for, because compassion doesn’t create victims but it is there to shelter and lighten the burden of the sufferer, it is important to bring to light and to confront those deeds against the proclaimed so called Maitreyian message.

One can dress 100 men in robes, that won’t make them be what that uniform tries to sell. Hollywood dressed thousands of static characters for its big peplum films. Among those monks are some that have been the direct instruments of violence. You can put any kind of dress on them that will not erase what they have done, they never expressed any regrets, they never moved their little finger to come to help any of the victims, and if it is with that type of men that he is spreading something, it won’t last long before what is spread is the actual nature of these people and their own world-view and nothing of value or quality will come out of it. The only question that remains how many more victims down the road?

Then you add to the mix the over-inflated ego of an old lady who sees herself as the ‘discoverer of the next messiah’, trying to write the most beautiful sounding sentences coagulated to her own venom here and there among some paragraphs, and you wonder what was the core text, before being ‘beautified’. What did Ram Bomjon actually say, did he really say it or was it produced like the majority of the ‘public’ texts by different other authors, or rather what did he want to say. Given his level of education, even in Nepali it’s not always easy to ‘reconstruct intelligently’ the sentences of Ram Bomjon.

Buddhism actually describes in the Noble Truth both the cravings for existence and the cravings for non-existence. Both are pointed out as a re-focusing device towards here and now. Forget after-life, forget extinction nothing after death, and live a life that is mindful of the present.

As soon as Ram Bomjon started using violence against others he lost his recognition and his penance or tapasya was broken. It totally doesn’t matter if it was or not interrupted, if he ate food or not, if he stayed in one place or moved from place to place. What does matter is the use of violence. That is the source of his discredit, it’s not something external, it’s not because of Pragya, or because of Dawa, or because of Semyon, or because of Khenpo Sonam, or because of Andy, or because of Joan Stanley Baker, or because of his family, or because of the ‘world’, or because of Andy, or because of Marici, or because of any other being than because of Ram himself.

Conclusion

The best thing that could happen is for him to realize where ‘he’ has been the direct cause of unnecessary suffering for other beings, particularly since among these beings were some devoting their lives to him, in full trust, and to start by repairing the harm that was done. All of the victims deserve to live a life without the very real threats they have kept receiving so far coming from Ram’s entourage. All the members of Ram’s family deserve also to be on the receiving end of the proclaimed compassion, as that’s not what they have much experienced so far. The devotees that place their trust in him deserve also the truth and right example from the person they trust. The son he brought to this world deserves a father who is a capable father, and the mother deserves a man that embodies his own message. There can be no truth or validity in a message that looks nice about compassion on one hand and acts of violence and aggravated prejudices for the victims on the other hand.

Since everything revolves around a myth type marketing construction where content matters very little. It is mainly declarative without any actual clarity, one can only conclude that clarity and precision are of no interest to Mr Bomjon. We wish that he achieves all the realizations that would make him be the compassionate being he tries to teach others to be.

Mr Ramlal Bomjon accomplices

While Ram Bomjon keeps making new victims, make sure you don’t become his next one. Use your intelligence, your common sense, your logic and your heart before falling prey to someone else’s delusions.

Mr Ramlal Bomjon accomplices

Key position holders involved in a meticulous cover up

How can seemingly educated westerners fall down to the level of accomplices of crimes against other innocent humans? These are people that you would have a coffee or chat with and would appear to be fairly rational, some of them might even be considered as fairly intelligent, at least in appearance. Of course all that rational and apparent intelligence blurs out as soon as you know what they have been involved in. Ram Bomjon carries out only some of the crimes himself. For the most part, he gives orders, and those are absolutely scrupulously executed. For the chaining and criminal detention of those now famously known two women, a European lady and a Nepali lady, it had been conducted with the active participation and assistance of quite a number of players. We will at a later date fully disclose all the details of those detentions. For the time being if you don’t know the story, check some of the earlier posts we made about it.

All the key stakeholders of that organization are involved at various degrees in this venture of ‘organized crime’. We call it ‘organized crime’ for it is pretty well organized, there is a very tight control on what information goes out and what doesn’t. From the American/Vietnamese born president, to the members of the committees, through to all the publicly known positions of ‘International director’, assistants, translators, Russian webmaster, the Taiwanese Mama marketing and publishing tycoon, every one of them assists directly or indirectly in the cover up. It is also a fairly good qualification of ‘organized crime’ as it is organized and criminal in nature. It is criminal to detain people and to torture them, it is criminal to beat people, it is criminal also to use children for hard labour. As soon as you know those are/were committed, when you send donations to this organization, you are yourself becoming an accomplice of the crimes your money is helping commit.

All you need is love and compassion but all Ram Bomjon needs from you is money and recognition of his illusory ‘authority’

In all this time, about 10 years now, big claims were made by Ram Bomjon. Actually we all fell in the trap. It was a young (it seemed innocent and genuine peasant boy from a tiny village in the Nepali south Jungle of Bara), a boy who left to meditate ‘for the benefit of all sentient beings’. Who on earth would even think either disturbing or troubling the fantastic accomplishment we were all lead to believe? The BBC wrote articles about him, it was on all the major international news networks. To make the story even more attractive a parallel was drawn between him and the historical Buddha. Millions of people flocked to meet him, to get blessed by him. And actually, right at the very beginning, there probably was this genuine goal and desire in that young boy then. Sadly with fame came trailing right behind it, greed, the greed of many around him. A multi-faceted greed, some were after money, some wanted to hold a unique role next the new ‘Buddha’, others wanted a ticket to a supersonic flight to enlightenment for themselves. Right from the start it was a very heterogeneous crowd, but right from the start the amazing flow of donations twisted the heads of many.

When did he start eating and drinking actually? Very quickly. Check the historical photos of him and you should be able to notice he was quickly gaining weight actually. Now he is a fatsy that doesn’t renounce on anything.

Too young, too early, too much pressure, the addictive taste of money and power, beyond corrupting the successive entourages of Ram Bomjon, it started also corrupting Ram Bomjon himself. At what point exactly did he loose it? At what point did he fall in the delusion about what he thinks is his ‘unquestionable authority’? That and many other questions might never find their answer. And in fact the answer is somewhat irrelevant in the face of all these crimes. One thing is sure, things started going wrong very very early on. Legends kept being fed to the public, no food no drink for 6 years! Bullshit! Sex, food and travels were on his program quite early, while for public consumption he is told to be meditating for the ‘benefit of all sentient beings’. But understand this well, without the legend, there is no faith in him, without the faith there is no donations, without donations and without the bunch of blind and fanatic devotees he has there is no ‘power or authority’ for him.

From the earliest moments of his started penance (tapasya), everyone around him treated him like a living god, above everyone, above the law, and they considered that whatever he does is ‘pure and enlightened’. However if anyone would question anything, his commando of censorship and propaganda would either retaliate or even one would be detained and tortured. If that wasn’t enough Ram would make sure the severity of the punishment was increased. From that encouraged, supported feeling of authority, through to a never achieved process towards enlightenment, Ram reached probably within the maze of his own mind only, and through the infinite power of self-delusion the belief he was IT. He encountered all these ‘beings’ in his own mind, generated by his mind, lost in the infinite space of the infinite possibilities our minds have to trick us, as it does to all of us. The difference though being none of us thinks we are a supreme ‘authority’ directly connected with a red line to ‘all the masters of the past’ (what a nice marketing trick also), and that we can do whatever we want down here, even all the way to harming other beings gravely.

Whichever the point at which he lost it, he seems to still not have realized he has lost it. Him and many even advanced meditators confuse ‘siddhis’ – ‘special powers achieved through meditation’ with true Nirvana or Enlightenment. And in the western culture many fall for gurus manifesting or materializing stones, or eggs, or whatever. They could be called simple ‘gurists’, tourists of gurus. They brag how they’ve seen with their own eyes miracles, they show off their imagined expertise. Essentially they swagger. That’s in fact the bottom line. Yet the consequence of that unawareness in conjunction with the active support of all the gloaters of different trades and specialties, gave rise to all the crimes and lies, and abuses, and scandals being done.

Furthermore, the crowd and their idol enhance and amplify each others’ delusion. That would be fine altogether if it was not for all the collateral victims along the way. Anyone can believe whatever he likes. The problem is not beliefs (although those very beliefs are also a factor in making those crimes possible), and this is not a post about the dangers of believing, the problem is about violence, crimes, and the victims that are left on the way, with sometimes lifelong consequences.

2012 and the Nepali and European ladies detentions is not the only ones we are referring to. Since, very sadly there has been many more. Some for which we cannot release the information just yet. Some for which you already have some of the details already revealed. And we are not talking about only one or two more case, but quite many more. All we can tell you so far without endangering some of his victims, is that once you have read these, you will no longer be able to say ‘I didn’t know’. And remember that the only reason for disclosing these actions is to make Ram Bomjon stop his violence and face the consequences of his orders and actions together with all of those that committed those crimes with him, Westerners and Nepalis alike. They cannot undo the harm they have done, but they still can stop making new victims, and they still can attempt to repair at least a part of the damage they have caused.

Conclusion

While there is no doubt that among his followers there are people with a genuine good heart and disposition towards ‘benefiting all sentient beings’, everyone should remember that in ‘all sentient beings’ there is the word ‘all’. All doesn’t mean everyone apart from this one or that one, ‘all’ does mean each and every single sentient being without any exceptions. The best way of benefiting every being, is to oppose all forms of violence, even when that violence comes from someone some people are considering to be a guide or a teacher.

We are opposing the violence, we are denouncing it, for the benefit of all, for the benefit of the victims, for the benefit of the believers in Ram Bomjon, for the benefit of Ram Bomjon himself, for the benefit also of those who participated in committing those crimes for Ram Bomjon, for the benefit of those who are still blinded by their faith, and for the benefit of those who know what’s been done and feel stuck and unable to do or say anything.

When a man says he is a guru

Someone who lives a real dharma won’t preach about it. They show it in their ‘works’ – that is the way they live their lives every day. If someone is ethical, virtuous, kind, giving, patient, harmonious, has integrity, and lives with a sense of serving others more than themselves, then you can likely trust them.

When a man says he is a guru

When a man who says he is a guru threatens or states another man will be extinguished, self-annihilated or any similar outlandish claims. Can he be a guide to anyone?

When a man who says he is a guru uses violence against other men and women, can he be trusted when he talks about compassion or supposed world peace?

When a man who says he is a guru harbors weapons, engages his monks in fights with neighboring villagers, can his teachings be trusted?

When a man who says he is a guru only waves around his supposed attainment as an argument of a supposed authority, does that call for the respect of his fellow men?

When a man who says he is a guru mostly communicates to exclude, to shift blame, or to cancel made promises is he inviting trust and reliance in his words?

When a man who says he is a guru never teaches or explains anything, yet expects from his followers blind obedience, can he expect to be followed?

When a man who says he is a guru physically abuses, usually by telling devotees to assault other devotees, or has a vindictive attitude towards ex-devotees, can he be considered a true guru?

When a man who says he is a guru acts whimsically and emotionally can he be relied upon when talking about the path to overcome those?

When a man who says he is a guru and his chosen ones act like a militia, physically punishing others and severely damaging them would you take those acts of omnipotence with no accountability as a the sign of any enlightenment?

When a man who says he is a guru keeps on focusing on his supposed enlightenment rather than teaching the path leading to it, doesn’t practice what he preaches, demands love and devotion, takes sexual advantage of his followers, gives himself outrageous titles, allows his followers to set up a hierarchy of access, and acts like a paranoid person, can he still pretend to be a guru?

Conclusion

Someone who lives a real dharma won’t preach about it. They show it in their ‘works’ – that is the way they live their lives every day. If someone is ethical, virtuous, kind, giving, patient, harmonious, has integrity, and lives with a sense of serving others more than themselves, then you can likely trust them. Someone who teaches these principles but does not live them – isn’t a real guru.

The organization of an abusive guru is called a cult. It is important to understand that no truly Realized being, no True Guru, is ever abusive, ever. There is no exception to this rule, because abusiveness is a result of narcissism and ego, nothing else, and the primary definition of a true guru is they no longer possess ego.

Delusional Mr Ramlal Bomjon

Decrypting the attack against Mr Gyurme. What happened for Mr Bomjon to blame someone 5 years later for his own failures.

The original text in italic, and our comments in light blue bold:

Sonam Gyurme Bal Tamang formerly of Jhapa District, Nepal first entered the sacred Tapasya Grounds in the Halkhoria Jungle of Ratanpuri V.D.C. in August of 2010, less than a year before Guru Maha Sambodhi Dharma Sangha would complete His six-year penitential tapasya austerities. After some interviewing, Sonam came under the Meditator’s refuge and was hired to work as Meditator’s assistant with the honorary title of Khenpo. He gave his solemn word to obey and perform his given duties faithfully. Having studied in Gangtok, Sikkim, India at the Nyingma Institute under Kyabje Rigjin Dorje Rinpoche, Sonam was a follower of the previous Path with considerable advanced training in the previous knowledge.

– It should be highlighted that Mr Bomjon here talks about the recruitment of Mr Sonam Gyurme he conducted himself. He chose the guy, then fires him. But you would think it’s such an old story, what does it have to do today with all this out-pour of uncontrolled anger and frustration. While Mr Bomjon didn’t give anyone any explanations either at the moment he hired him, or at the moment he fired him, why now? All of a sudden his personally ‘chosen’ and ‘titled’ khenpo, is portrayed by Mr Bomjon as the worst man on earth, the one who dares ‘oppose’ dharma. 2010, 2016? Did Mr Gyurme ‘oppose’ Mr Bomjon’s ‘dharma’ all this time, and it’s only now that Mr Bomjon finds out about it? Or is there some other elements in here, which are not mentioned at all? Elements that would explain this crazy like outburst from Mr Bomjon?

Just as the physical world has its mores, laws and regulations, so does Dharma have its own mores, laws and regulations. Dharma or Guru will not be opposed. This Truth is difficult to comprehend for people who have not undergone true tapas, profound contemplation and extreme austerities in penitential meditation. What were the mores, laws and regulations of the previous knowledge gained from the previous path? How much of it is true knowledge, free of added fabrications? The world may know, perhaps. Before the six-year meditations and austerities a set of worldly mores, laws and regulations had been followed. The Bodhi Path Maitri Dharma (BodhiMarga darshan MaitriDharma) now attained contains a distinct and different set of mores, laws and regulations. And once revealed for the benefit of the world and the liberation of all living beings, all Guru’s actions, deeds, words or even thoughts are within dharma’s mores, laws and regulations, at all times. Dharma is the universe, and the essence that sustains it.

– The very tenants of the total delusion Mr Bomjon finds himself in is usually labelled ‘Dualism’. A place where you confront the ‘old’ and the ‘new’, the good and the bad, the guru and the opposer of dharma. He talks all the time about a ‘dharma’ that he has, by the way, never explained. He has been using the term over and over again but only to illustrate his perception of his ‘authority’. He is equating himself with that undefined ‘dharma’, and talks of laws and regulations (even mores now) governing it. Yet all in truth, this entire universe is governed by is a single principle “Cause and Effect”. Any causal process is just merely an appearance of the moment, and none of the appearances can lay claim to be or reflect the true nature of Reality. There is a Totality that embraces the infinity of appearances. To project anything more onto this perception, or to cling to it as though it were the final truth, would be to fall into delusion. Which seems exactly what Mr Bomjon is doing.

He has named himself a guru, depository of a teaching that he has never imparted, neither before Mr Gyurme, nor after the departure of Mr Gyurme. To be clear, for now the concepts of Mr Bomjon are perhaps just barely understood by himself, if at all. Although he seems to be swimming in his own contradictions most of the time. He calls his own world view the Truth, yet didn’t give any sign out of his own behavior that he had indeed discovered ‘the Truth’. While this very so called truth doesn’t seem to have freed him from any of the usual afflictions of deluded men, like anger, emotions, irrational behaviour, or as seen in the violence he has against women and men he thinks are ‘against’ him.

Mr Bomjon himself kept telling he will give some unique teaching that supersedes all other teachings, yet all he has really shown every one is his own irrational despotic behaviour. The way he treats women, even his own girl/friend wife. The way he shows his fury. The way he feels above everyone else, the way he talks the vocabulary of a fundamentalist with big titles like World Peace Puja, Maha Sambodhi Dharma Sangha, but no substance at the core. No known examples or demonstrations of his own compassion, only of his ‘authority’ that he claims should be unquestionable.

In Dharma, sins may be forgiven only under three conditions: when committed out of ignorance, without knowing, or under compulsion. But for those who commit sins outside these three conditions, there is no pardon or forgiveness, but only abandonment. Should anyone, even dharma gurus, commit the sin of opposing dharma they will never be able to follow dharma again; nor will they ever receive another human life, animal life or even a ghostly life, having completely extinguished their own souls.

– Now back to the early age of religion and the notion of ‘sin’. What a powerful tool to manipulate the gullible and the weak. Is that part of the ‘new’ teachings? So three conditions: out of ignorance, not knowing and under compulsion. What’s the difference between not knowing and ignorance? Probably anger didn’t make him even realize the two are more or less the same. And now onto the ‘no pardon or forgiveness’. Wow. Only abandonment? No half measures, radical! Gone is compassion with the wind! The Maha efforts towards compassion and treating ‘every’ single being like ‘one’s own child’, flying through the window like a spit to clear a throat. We go from ‘dharma’ to total annihilation, let’s even affect all the future ‘presumed’ lives of a hypothetical ever surviving soul or souls, smashed! And it gets more than interesting to read the last words of the sentence: ‘having completely extinguished their own souls’. So the ‘new’ delusional philosophy of Mr Bomjon attributes the existence of multiple souls, that get completely extinguished. So many new concepts and tenants unexplained to accept and try to follow for his devotees. Good luck guys!

When Sonam Gyurme began to work for Guru, he was hired to write a small scripture based on the omniscient wisdom of Bodhi Marga darshan Maitriya Dharma as revealed to Guru for the world’s wellbeing and for the salvation of all living beings in the universe. It was to be part of the coming Maitriya Puja Mahadarshan programme for world peace marking completion of Guru’s long tapasya. In the beginning, Sonam appeared to be faithfully recording the Maitri wisdom as spoken by Guru. But in no time his conduct turned subversive and sacrilegious. He presented Maha Sambodhi Dharma Sangha Guru as a follower of the previous path, offering the old knowledge. Fully intent on destroying Maitri Dharma and to conceal the true Guru Maha Sambodhi Dharma Sangha, Sonam Gyurme filled the scripture with familiar old knowledge rehashed in his own fabrications and needless untruths, turning dharmic wisdom upside down. He resolved to prevent BodhiMarga darshan MaitriDharma from superseding his own old path of previous knowledge.

– Since very early on, Mr Bomjon has been convinced of his holding the truth by the balls, he doesn’t deal with modesty or simplicity, he straightly qualifies his own perception as the ‘omniscient wisdom of Bodhi Marga darshan Maitriya Dharma (yet another new form of pompous terminology, unexplained) revealed to Mr Bomjon (remember he calls himself Guru and many other names as he loves big titles and helicopter rides). He also loves telephones to the point of being close to breaking the world record of the number of mobile phone subscriptions for a single person. Maybe mobile phones are the way he gets the revelations with, from Bodhi Marga …. (let’s hope they are not long distance satellite calls). Or is it just one of the side effects of a paranoid delusional state in which one is seeing traitors all around oneself? So back in 2010 Mr Sonam ‘in no time’ ‘turned subversive and sacrilegious? And Mr Bomjon still didn’t get over it? His enlightenment plan probably didn’t have a forgiveness option. Or maybe when you capture women, beat people, that option gets removed it looks like.

Check now what was the ‘crime’ of Mr Gyurme? He presented Mr Bomjon who call himself also Maha Sambodhi Dharma Sangha, as a follower of the previous path, offering old knowledge. My goodness! Such a bad guy this Mr Gyurme, it’s like selling out of date food at the supermarket. And now it takes 4 to 5 years for Mr Bomjon to tell us that! We’ve been eating out-dated food since 2010 without anyone telling us! That’s outrageous. We should all ask for a refund!

Further overstepping his authority, Sonam proposed outrageous plans to attract donations. Instead of raising spiritual awareness, he put forward many materialistic projects to incite greed and avarice, guiding covetous persons to focus on selfish interests. And without first reporting to Guru, Sonam Gyurme masterminded the 15-day MahaDarshan Maitri Puja (20 May – 6 June, 2011) giving long speeches on the microphone about the various ambitious worldly projects entirely of his own design. Veering from Dharma, he launched in the name of Dharma a Maitriya School, Maitriya Hospital, Maitriya Mansion, Maitriya Dharma Hall, and Maitriya Global Media turning the massive outpouring of love and faith into an enterprise. To many worldly people these became most alluring opportunities. Believing the projects to have been approved by the Guru Himself, local and world sangha members and followers then collected millions upon millions of rupees. But it soon transpired that management of these vast sums was becoming seriously corrupt, for when the 15- day Puja was over, none of the many millions collected in donations could be accounted for. Sonam Gyurme and his assistants were asked to give a detailed report to the assembled Committee of all that they had done. Without compliance or informing anyone, Sonam Gyurme vanished one August night in 2011, having subverted the love, trust and faithful devotion for the Guru not only of local villagers and lay lamas and previous lama followers, but also of global devotees and world sangha. In his wake, he left confusion, frustrated greed and bitterness among the rest. He has not been heard from since, and is said to have left the country. In every way possible, Sonam Gyurme had been obstructing the clarification and dissemination of BodhiMarga darshan MaitriDharma by Maha Sambodhi Dharma Sangha Guru causing suffering, torment and anguish. At the same time, he was telling the world that Maha Sambodhi Dharma Sangha was no one special but only another guide of the previous Path, thus fanning doubts and confusion among the world sangha.

 – It gets juicy now. This paragraph is great, one could almost sense the moment Mr Bomjon has been thinking let’s use this opportunity to throw all the blame for my own failures onto Mr Gyurme, no one will even notice, they are all so gullible anyway. So all the outrageous plans that have never stopped, including the latest to build a giant over 21 meter high thangka, were plans to attract donations by Mr Gyurme. What a powerful man this Mr Gyurme who can continue to have canny plans to attract donations even 4 years after Mr Bomjon fired him. The 15-days Maha Darshan Maitri Puja (again they love those big names, it’s like with the washing powder that washes whiter than white), was the masterminded plan of Mr Gyurme. One would wonder again, if so why did Mr Bomjon agree with it, or if he didn’t why didn’t he reject it then but tells us all about it now 5 years later. He holds old grudges it seems.

Mr Gyurme long gone, and the grand scheme projects continued, helicopter flights were probably also Mr Gyurme’s idea, this Mr Gyurme surely must be guilty of everything. How have all the other millions of rupees from donations been spent since Mr Gyurme is gone? So this so guilty for everything Mr Gyurme ‘has been obstructing the clarification and dissemination’ of Mr Bomjon perception of the his own delusions, and by that ‘causing suffering, torment and anguish. Wow! What did Mr Bomjon do to the women he ordered chained, to those he beat, to those who believed him and waited the promised ‘teachings’? Did Mr Bomjon cause any suffering to them? We are talking here of Mr Bomjon actually and not Mr Gyurme. Mr Bomjon is the self-proclaimed head of his own organization. He hires and fires. He makes the requests and things are brought/bought for him.

-This one deserves a special paragraph. “At the same time, he was telling the world that “Mr Bomjon” was no one special. Wow now that’s interesting. One would wish that Mr Gyurme said it earlier and in a clearer manner, it could well turn out that he was right about that! At least for the portion of the sentence that states “no one special”. And then he assumes that the supposed revelations of Mr Gyurme spawned doubts and confusion among the world sangha.

Mr Bomjon should learn that his own actions speak louder than any words he uses, even louder than the words he abuses like ‘dharma’ and ‘guru’. Mr Bomjon shouldn’t look for a scapegoat in Mr Gyurme for Mr Bomjon himself failed everyone around, not Mr Gyurme, and Mr Bomjon subverted the trust and respect people gave him. Mr Bomjon was this young man showing the promise of a future living example of renunciation for the benefit of ‘ALL’ sentient beings unfolding. Instead of blaming others he should take responsibility. None of the people from around the world observing him were shocked by what Mr Gyurme did but all are shocked by his very behavior, that of a young boy turned angry, revengeful, authoritarian and irrational.

Then Guru spoke for the first time at length, and talked to villagers and devotees about the attainment that is Maha Sambodhi and the omniscient wisdom of Bodhi Marga darshan Maitri Dharma. And so the world began to understand that a new era had dawned. Feeling defeated, Sonam Gyurme Bal Tamang went to Guru’s childhood home in Ratanpur and plied family members with false rumours and greedy enticements. He managed to make them angry and resentful, causing a complete break between Guru and family by the year 2011.

– “Then Guru spoke for the first time at length, and talked to villagers and devotees about the attainment that is Maha Sambodhi and the omniscient wisdom of Bodhi Marga darshan Maitri Dharma.” We wonder what is he really referring to here. What’s the attainment that is Maha Sambodhi? Same story all the time, Mr Bomjon has a perspective on truth, feels he has received some special authority, and always mentions the ‘world’, the world knows, the world was told, and blablablah. But even through his own website he hasn’t said anything that can be intelligently understood. He has only demonstrated whims.

– Mr Bomjon shouldn’t blame on Mr Gyurme his own disastrous relationship with his family. Again Mr Gyurme is long gone and Mr Bomjon didn’t require anyone’s assistant to deteriorate his relationship with his family. How can someone with genuinely strong ties with his family have someone from outside destroy those. What kind of ties are those that are so easily damaged. Again it seems too easy to make Mr Gyurme guilty of everything.

The world being as yet unable and unwilling to contemplate BodhiMarga darshan MaitriyaDharma, we herewith make known this dark page from those early years as an example not only of the inexorable, essential nature of Dharma, but also of the irreversible consequence of self-annihilation for those deliberately opposing Dharma or Guru. Sonam Gyurme committed grave errors in leading followers away from dharma into greed and avarice, let alone deception and embezzlement. And in trying to suppress Maitri Dharma and conceal the True Guru he, as certain other individuals and agencies here and overseas, committed the ultimate sin against Dharma itself for which there is no forgiveness or recourse, but only extinction.

– And now another concept is thrown the concept of ‘self-annhilation’. There is no kindness and no half measures here either. From complete extinction of the plural souls, to ‘self-annihilation’. So Mr Gyurme is guilty of everything, but given the level of paranoid delusion we are dealing within Mr Bomjon, he wraps him up together with ‘certain other individuals and agencies here and overseas’, and comes back the ‘sin’ through the big gaping door of delusion, and then no forgiveness, and another new notion ‘extinction’.! Well! Tickle my tits until Tuesday if this is not a tit for a tat! Take a paracetamol Mr Bomjon, a good cup of tea and calm down.

Mr Bomjon do not shift the blame for your own errors. We will respect you and value your potential advice only if you set a good example yourself. No one is trying to obstruct something that has never been given. To be able to obstruct, you have to have that thing you want to obstruct in the first place. In its absence one cannot obstruct it. Your attitude so far has taught us one thing for sure, not to trust you or your nonexistent teachings. Where each promise you have made you yourself broke.
