The tragic death of the white horse of Ramlal Bomjon

by This website | Feb 16, 2015
It is an event that I have witnessed with my own eyes, the kind of event you’d wish never to have seen. It’s the account of the tragic death of the white horse of Ramlal Bomjon.

Saved to die

It is an event that I have witnessed with my own eyes, the kind of event you’d wish never to have seen. It’s the account about the tragic death of the white horse of Ramlal. Somewhere in august-september 2013, many preparations were on-going for moving Ramlal and the monks to a new site. Things were organized in a sort of half secrecy typical with most of the people surrounding Ramlal, which is to say: “It’s a secret, I can’t tell you, but I will tell you anyway just don’t tell anyone”. That’s how most pseudo-secrets really quickly circulate and in the end most people know about those secrets. The secret then was the organization of a helicopter trip to Sindhupalchowk, and all the preparations of making a path through from the mountain top all the way down to where the next settlement would take place. There was a request to collect donations to pay for that helicopter trip, but up to the last moment there wasn’t enough money collected. When at the last moment, somehow money was found and the helicopter ride for him to Sindhupalchowk could take place.
I was in Katmandu then, and I receive a call from Dawa who asks me to go in town and buy some food for the horse of the Guru. As all the animals were to be ‘moved’ from the old site to this new site of Sindhupalchowk. I searched for dry rye knowing how they feed them with a lot of freshly cut herbs, that lack the minerals needed in a horse diet, bought carrots and apples, for both the monks and the horse and sheep and goat. And we are all preparing to get to Sindhupalchowk.
It’s a bit north-east of Katmandu, there is an easy part of the road until you reach a big river, cross its bridge and get on the foothill of a first mountain that requires a 4 wheels drive to cope with the tortuous terrain. Even with a 4 wheels drive, the journey is rough. We kept being thrown all over the place in the car, I hit my head against the top of the car quite a few times. And the drive is pretty long, as the road is alternating fairly correct parts with big holes, or a total washout part of the road. And then you start climbing and climbing, for what seems to take for ever. And we arrived around the time when darkness started to step in. We were almost at the top of the Badegaun hill or area, when the car had to stop. Ahead of us a truck seemed to block the road, a construction bulldozer was there on the side too. It looked like just a blocked road. When moments after that on our left side, I see a horse, attached with ropes around all his 4 legs, to poles planted in the ground. The horse had wounds all over the body. His eyes were so wounded he could almost not open them up to see through them. When I say the body and legs were covered in wounds, I literally mean this. My guess is that his bones were probably broken, which would explain why they tied him up to poles, to keep him upright standing. We ask what happened to the horse of the Guru? And we were told that the horse got wounded because he was in this truck and they had driven that same road we took with that truck and the horse behind.
What can I tell you? No wonder the horse got banged all over while in that truck. It’s not a transportation vehicle designed for carrying horse on tracks in the mountains. I couldn’t believe can be as stupid as this as to not even check along the way if something went wrong. But to get at the top of the mountain and just then realize they almost killed the horse. I am writing here ‘almost’, because at that part in the unfolding of events the horse was still alive. We discharged all the food and carrots we brought for the horse and gave it to a guy, who was by the horse and trying to make him drink a bit, or eat something. The horse of course, had probably no desire at all for any food. Food was the least of its worries.
The place is far from everything, it’s the night, I didn’t even think of taking a picture of that horse, I was so much under shock, I wanted to figure out how to get a veterinarian there. But as we couldn’t continue with the vehicles it was decided we go on foot from there to the house of Techu. We spent the night there, and the next when we reached the ‘Dharma Center’, we learned that the horse had died. Given the circumstances that’s probably only then that it was better for him.

Conclusion

It all started from an order of Ramlal Bomjon to get all the animals he is ‘saving’, to Sindhupalchowk. The end of the story is the tragic death of a beautiful horse, that was not properly taken care of. A horse meant to be ‘saved’, that encountered the most tragic possible death, due to the total inability of most of the people around Ramlal Bomjon, to recognize their own lack of skills, and to ask from people who have the skills to be helped. They are all in a frenzy to execute each and every wish of their leader, not even able to apprehend the magnitude of their limitations.
After that I heard some of the most stupid comments like the ‘horse was meditating before dying’. It was his karma. And the list of justifications that were given is endless. Not even worth relating. But never ever do I encounter within the people responsible for the most dramatic events around Ramlal, wonder what they themselves did wrong. What is their responsibility? All the energy of the group is deployed in covering up, finding super-natural reasons to plainly stupid actions.

Confusion comes from lies

by This website | Feb 13, 2015

Lies get you into more lies, that get you into more lies and more problems…

When things are wrong they also appear wrong

The March 2014 the official newsletter of Bodhi Shrawan Dharma Sangha announces the ordination of a new monk baring the name Jyampa Ngami. The text goes and says:
“We are pleased to report the USA Sangha has been diligently working to develop a new Temple in the name of Maitriya Guru Maha Sambodhi Dharma Sangha. The Bodhi Shrawan Dharma Sangha Temple opened in early February, 2014. Although located in the United States, The Temple is the sacred space for devotees from all parts of the world, who are always invited to visit, pray, chant and study Dharma.
The Temple houses a beautiful shrine adorned with a new Maitriya statue, carved in stone, along with pictures of His Holiness, and other sacred objects. The USA Chapter office is also being housed in the Temple along with monk living quarters, library, and a meditation room. The back of the Temple is a peaceful space for walking meditations, tea meditations, and quiet mindful moments underneath a large actual Bodhi tree.
We are currently meeting every Sunday at 2:00 PM to pray, chant and share the loving kindness of Guru. We would like to take this opportunity to give you a warm welcome to the Temple if you happen to be in the area. The Temple is located in Westminster, California. Please call Jampa Ngami if you would like to visit with us at (xxx) xxx-xx-xx. We would love to greet you. For those devotees who would like to volunteer their time and talents, we are always delighted to welcome you, and show you projects we are working on at the moment. Please call Jampa Ngami and he will arrange for your stay at the Temple.”

Who is Jyampa Ngami

It’s someone who presented himself as Dr. William J. Moore, Ph.D., MSW, LADC, CCS Clinical Director, and asked to become a monk for Ramlal Bomjon. This doctor of psychology will serve the purpose of establishing an online diagnosis to discredit Ms Takacs, quoted in emails sent by Mrs Kim Nguyen (president of Bodhi Shrawan Dharma Sangha). Instead of ever organizing an internal process within the organization to question the criminal act of the detention of people by the entourage of Ramlal Bomjon, the top management of BSDS, with Kim Nguyen as president, Andrea Good as ‘moderator of her own blogs, namely the google groups of deception’, organizes the orchestrated slander and defamation of Ms Takacs. His online diagnosis is sent to Kishore Sherchand a Nepali realtor in the USA, who writes self-inspired articles about Ramlal Bomjon on Nepali blogs and media. The intent, showing that what Ms Takacs writes on her blogs is not reliable, calling into the very integrity of the person who was the victim of an unlawful detention by Ramlal Bomjon. The full text of the emails will be later provided.

Question: How was he accepted by Ramlal Bomjon?
Answer: A photo of Dr Moore was presented to Ramlal Bomjon and he accepted him. They never met, no training or teaching was ever provided to the wannabe monk. No substance ever existed in any of the steps of that process.

Question: How was Dr Moore ordained?
Answer: By staging a fake ordination ceremony in the USA, not a single ordained monk was present at the ceremony. Only two persons connected to Ramlal Bomjon were present at the ceremony, Kim Nguyen and Dawa Ngima Tamang. Neiter Kim nor Dawa are monks. The rest are Vietnamese family and friends of Kim Nguyen, and the monk itself. See below photos of the ceremony. The house belong to Kim Nguyen, and let us translate what is written in this newsletter: “The temple houses a beautiful shrine adorned with a ‘New Maitriya’ statue, carved in stone’, along with pictures of His Holiness and other sacred objects’. The house is a plain ordinary house, with an ordinary cheap chinese collection of buddha statues, a stone statue turned backward (ok that must be the My Trayer statue, it’s ashamed to look at us it seems), a small cardboard calendar on a short tallboy and another calendar hanging on the wall.

Monk ordination ceremony The 'Temple' and 'Shrine' The outside of the 'Temple'

Question: What happens with this monk?
Answer: Not long after the ordination, and installation of the fake monk, in the fake temple, the fake monk is getting tired of being alone in the fake temple, tired of wearing the robe (poor guy he never received the nice blue monk dress designed by Guru-stylist Ramlal Bomjon. He is even beginning to threaten Kim Nguyen. Sending menacing sms’s to her. Kim doesn’t know what to do with him any more. A fake monk, in a fake temple, making ‘real’ threats, that’s no good! So after weeks of cat and mouse game between the monk and Kim where the monk would not answer at the phone calls, not open the door of the fake temple, keep asking for money, walk around the town in civilian ordinary clothes, Kim manages to get rid of him, sending him to a Vietnamese Buddhist temple.

The organization BSDS in the USA

An organization officially registered in the USA exists. What is flimsy with it is that it doesn’t have any real activity other than collecting the money of all the international donations. Before moneys were also collected in Japan by Andrea Good, but the organization quickly realized that Mrs Good is not so good when it comes to dealing with money. Andrea even told once Kim that taking a bit of money from the donations is OK, as long as no one knows about it. So donations are centrally collected by the Kim, and what else? Well not much really, there was a fair organized once in San Francisco, to which they participated, with a stand and banner, see photo.
 The California Fair
A few names are registered with this organization, as an organization in the USA requires that you have at least a President, a Treasurer and a Secretary. So some local friends devotees are named at those positions. Two of them only in reality a certain Mark V. M. and Smitha, yet Kim sends emails informing of the existance of 6 main members of Board of Directors. In which I am named as one of them, even though I was never either asked to accept such a function, nor ever received any information about the role of the board or my role within it. The two persons Mark V. and Smitha, almost never meet, even for the mandatory meetings a this fictitious board.
Here is the extract of the email sent by Kim Nguyen to Mr Kishore to explain the structure of the organization:

“Dear Kishore,

This is Kim. We have 6 main members from Board Director, 5 from California and 1 from France( our webmaster, Ivan). We also have a lot of members, both in US and outside of US too. I am out of town, in Florida. When i come back next week, I will fw you the board names, if you like to know. We are an approved 501(c)3 non profit organization. So, all donation are 100% tax exempt.

Maitri Mangalam,

K.”

In may 2014, that very tax exemption was revoked by the American IRS. (check this link: http://orghunter.com/organization/453932891 ), I even informed myself Kim about it, that was in December 2014. Mark and Smitha not even being reachable Kim Nguyen is filling the vacancy with her own daughter. (Where are all the other 4 missing directors?) Maybe that email was not so accurate. Can we call this a lie? Or maybe I am just trying to create some confusion? Where does the confusion come from, each and everyone of those actors should ask themselves, as I am asking myself. At least I try to highlight the source, the causes, and the possibilities for restoring truth and accountability.
In the meantime Kim has been collecting in emergency ‘receipts’ from Nepal of expenditures. Receipts from Nepal in 2015 for the past years? The ink must be very fresh on those receipts. I hope they are true receipts.
“We have a lot of members”, well let’s examine the word member; member implies membership, membership is the choice one makes to join, subscribe, or belong to ‘something’. BSDS USA, and BSDS Nepal, have no membership programs, no membership processes, no members list, no members that declared themselves members. Sometimes it’s not a bad idea to call a cat: “A cat!”.
Wait a second. If no real board of directors, if no real monk, if no real temple, if no real organization, we wonder where does the confusion come from?

Questions from devotees

by This website | Feb 09, 2015

We are receiving questions from devotees addressed to Ramlal Bomjon.

His devotees wondering

  1. When Guruji has the most powerful Bhaitri mantra, and prayers calling upon many wrathful divinities that are there to subjugate demons, why would he be unable to protect the pregnancies of Guru Amma from supposed witchcraft against her? – Jesus casted demons out of people and healed anyone from any disease, even from being lamed or blind their whole life through.
  2. If Guruji can receive messages from his divinities, representing directly Maitriya on the earth, why does he need to often inquire by phone about the deeds and motivations of his followers, in fear of conspiracy, of bad motives, of corruption, asking one about the other?
  3. We heard of numerous laws suits against Guruji, what is the validity of those? Why doesn’t he communicate openly about it?
  4. Why does Guruji hide the truth about himself and the actions of his entourage to the wider public. It seems like there is two faces to his speeches, one oral, and the other of controversial actions. He seems to preach one thing, but practices something very different. Is there a reason to this duality?
  5. Guruji, you speak of non-violence in most of your speeches yet it became known that you used violence yourself on a few people, no matter what the justification. Is this not a contradiction? You also say in your teaching: “Never discriminate on the basis of name, appearance, complexion, class, belief, community, power, position, or qualification…” Yet you practice discrimination between your own devotees; some have been banned, others are in positions of favor, to some you are kind while others are expelled in rather violent ways. Is this not a contradiction too?

As it has been nearly impossible for his devotees to ask direct questions to him, we will regularly publish the questions they haven’t been able to send directly to him and receive answers to them.

A girl friend, pregnancies, miscarriages

A girl friend, pregnancies, miscarriages

by This Website | Feb 08, 2015

Ram’s girl friend, called Guru Ama by the devotees, her repeated pregnancies.

Useless secrecy

While the public at large is fed the propaganda of an ascetic into his 6 years of intense meditation without food or water, his close entourage organises a secret trip for him, from Nepal to India, in Darjeeling. The reason of this trip, meeting with a girl, his girl-friend, the girl devotees will later call Guru Ama.
At that time, Ram Bomjon doesn’t have any papers, ID or passport, so it is important that the whole mission be kept secret. Obviously not only for the reason that he doesn’t have any papers, but he is supposed to be in deep meditation for his tapasya (vows to benefit all sentient beings). They would cross the border at night, passing him as an ordinary Nepali, most Nepalis are not even checked at the border with India.
Only a few devotees are in the loop about the girl-friend, there is an embargo about revealing the existence of that girl-friend. You can easily imagine why. Remember, he is supposed to be 6 years in constant meditation. If the public was to learn that he is having some sex (wether tantric or kamasutric), a lot of the followers might be lost.
In the meantime the aparatus of propaganda tightly controlled by Andrea Good, and her ever devoted aid Semyon Shekhotsov, webmaster from Russia, feed the group of blind devotees with what they are expecting to hear, too eager to help the right cause for compassion, unity among all religions, an aspiration that every human thirsty for tolerance and fraternity wishes. All the activities require money. Money, money, money. Om Money Padme hmmmmm.
That same girl-friend will later move to Nepal, to serve Ram whereever he goes. In early 2014, an internal announcement informs a very small circle of devotees of her pregnancy. Then long radio silence. And about in october-november 2014, when the baby was actually expected to come to this world, we start learning that the girl went already through 3 miscarriages. By December she is again pregnant.
Ram tells some of his devotees that he needs to protect her against witchcraft. Some dark forces being for him at the source of the miscarriages. Yet at no point, is he considering that after 3 miscarriages, the best protection she could get would be proper medical care first. She is kept to live under the harsh conditions in those montains and be provided only his ‘protection’ which she had all along the past miscarriages.
Why does an allegedly ‘enlightened’ being keep talking of witches, and with all his supposed powers, doesn’t even come forth openly in public to explain to his devotees the odidity of his actions? Why so many half baked secrets, when he presents himself as the Guru of Truth (Satya Guru)?
Why use propaganda instead of being completely open, and straight in his boots, in his actions, his mistakes, and his lack of basic judgement, which he seems to demonstrate so many times?

Propaganda and Web lies

by This Website | Feb 07, 2015

An illustration of how propaganda gets built, how legends are created, how fanaticism encourages the distortion of the truth. Fanaticism starts from an exaggerated zeal to show devotion and ends up in a sad misleading propaganda.

While the websites have never been reviewed by Ram Bomjon himself, nor by anyone qualified to review them, nor even by anyone full stop, they are the product of the fanatical views of the individuals involved in their creation and maintenance. For three years requests were made that a proper review be conducted, it never happened.

The word ‘Sangha’ is used all over the place without any clear definition to support what is meant by that word, one could say that the vagueness is intentional as to give the auditorium the only impression he can get from reading the content, that of a large worldwide collection of communities active and organized around a common goal. Vague enough to keep it totally unaccountable in case of any legal, moral or financial responsibility.

Sangha Worldwide Untruth

What’s the reality? There is only 2 organizations registered legally, one in Nepal and one in the USA. None of which is actually a ‘Sangha’ as most people would understand the definition of that term, for instance as given in the Wikipedia: “(Pali: सङ्घ saṅgha; Sanskrit: संघ saṃgha; Chinese: 僧伽; pinyin: Sēngjiā; Tibetan: དགེ་འདུན་ dge ‘dun) is a word in Pali and Sanskrit meaning “association”, “assembly,” “company” or “community” and most commonly refers in Buddhism to the monastic community of ordained Buddhist monks or nuns.”

The USA organization does not have any ordained monks within it. There is no ‘Sangha’ activities organized by it, other than the collection of donations (money). The Nepali ‘Sangha’ is having some monks, some of which were given robes without any ordination or vows or ethic being required from them. No education or teaching really takes place, those monks are at times involved in violent acts, and spend most of their time, either playing with their mobile phones, or training to chant the ‘Prayers to the seven Deities’.

Fake list of Sanghas

Fake List continued

All the ‘Sanghas’ represented on the website etapasvi now maitreya.info, are just web pages, google groups, youtube channels or facebook pages, no oversight, no monks, no teaching, no structure, no authorization to create them. That is what most people would call ‘propaganda’. What used to be a single Google Group for all, became obsolete as a big campaign of propaganda was launched by an American born living in Japan Andrea Good, against a former devotee Ms Takacs known as “Marici” after she was chained and detained by the closest collaborators of Ram Bomjon in Halkhoriya. Slander and defamation was propagated against her, access to that Google Group was blocked for her, and a series of new Google Groups were created baring names like “The Core Maitri Sangha group“, the “Sangha Dev group“, “Maha Sambodhi Dharma Sangha Group“, and another dozen others, to cater for the most faithfull to that same Andrea Good more than to any other cause.

Social Illusion

The main new group bared a welcome text that stated the following:
“Welcome Sangha members, devotees and followers of Maha Sambodhi Guru Dharma Sangha. This group is formed for those who, in deep trust of the Guru, are making a serious effort to follow the teachings. It is a continuation of the original Google Group founded in 2007. Central to all communication, acts, and meditation is the willingness to dedicate body, speech, and soul/heart to the freedom and welfare of all sentient beings in refuge of the Guru. As this group is for the truly faithful, we are blessed by the Guru’s presence. Thus, we are kindly requested to behave in the same way as we would in his physical presence. When entering this group it is in understanding of the Samaya (agreement) between the follower and Guru to uphold the 11 precepts. If the Samaya is transgressed, then we will remind one another of this responsibility and make an honest effort to repair it by showing a sincere willingness not to repeat the unwholesome act.”
Many were shocked by those discriminatory actions organized and enacted by Andrea Good, and a letter was sent to her with the following text:

“A lot of the sentences there are creating division and discrimination. Does Guruji wonder whether someone is truly faithful or not before he gives his blessing, does He select who to give a blessing to?

First sentence: “Welcome Sangha members, devotees and followers of Maha Sambodhi Guru Dharma Sangha. This group is formed for those who, in deep trust of the Guru, are making a serious effort to follow the teachings.”

Question: Who needs to judge if someone is making a serious effort to follow the teachings or not? Are we following the teaching by creating a separation between some brothers and sisters and others? Isn’t this separation and creation of groups for the “truly faithful” a clear contradiction with the First Precept: “Never discriminate on the basis of name, appearance, complexion, class, belief, community, power, position, or qualification; even discard differentiating between the concepts of material and spiritual”.

Third sentence: “As this group is for the truly faithful, we are blessed by the Guru’s presence.”

Question: Who are we to judge who is truly faithful or not, who are we to ask from anyone to examine whether he deems himself truly faithful or not? Shouldn’t we be inclusive while Guruji works at uniting all religious traditions, here we are creating already division among us. From the moment this division was created, some brothers and sisters feeling ‘unworthy’ of the new group (which by the way is just an internet discussion platform), left with sadness and sorrow and maybe some of them even gave up. From 964 members we are left with 138. We’ve eliminated 826 brothers and sisters from our family. An internet discussion group is not the Holy of Holy of the Temple, and even in Buddhist temples throughout India and Nepal, everyone is welcome, even animals are free to roam. So why are we preventing others brothers and sisters to receive our brotherly love and compassion? The pretext is given on the top: “In respect of Guru’s request not to refer to him as “Buddha Boy” we are shifting this group to a new link which does not contain that label.” Doesn’t this sound like a lame pretext, when you can change the name of the group in the settings of the group? Where is our compassion for “ALL” sentient beings?

Fourth sentence: “Thus, we are kindly requested to behave in the same way as we would in his physical presence.”

Question: Did Guruji ever ask anyone to behave a certain way, or does He through His boundless compassion for ALL naturally invites respect and devotion from all of us? If anything, shouldn’t we be trying to emulate compassion instead of adding precepts of our own making for internet discussion groups?

Fifth sentence: “When entering this group it is in understanding of the Samaya (agreement) between the follower and Guru to uphold the 11 precepts.”

Question: What does entering an online discussion group have to do with a Samaya “Covenant” that is a personal engagement between oneself and the Teacher? Why do we need to distort a tool that can help bring brothers and sisters together and feel among a family, become a tool to divide?

Last sentence: “If the Samaya is transgressed, then we will remind one another of this responsibility and make an honest effort to repair it by showing a sincere willingness not to repeat the unwholesome act.”

Question: Who is the judge of the transgression? Isn’t the creation of so many different groups for this type and that type of brothers and sisters precisely a clear transgression towards the efforts of Guruji to care for ALL sentient beings? How long will it take for us to grow and be inclusive, open our arms and hearts to all our brothers and sisters in this world, regardless their religion, belief, color, faithfulness, unfaithfulness, or any other attributes? Are we really following the Maitri Path when we do this? Is this really what Guruji is teaching us? Did Guruji ask to create many groups to cater for certain types of brothers and sisters and segregate them from the rest?

Is there enough groups, to hold all the various degrees of faithfulness? Are we sure we shouldn’t create maybe also Google’s groups for visitors of this website or that website, for Facebook users and twitter readers? Then some for very faithful readers and others for not yet enough faithful? And who is in charge of determining who passes the examination of faithfulness?”

In the exchange that followed this it was highlighted how this person (Andrea Good) was abusing her position of moderator/self imposed translator/self-proclaimed co-Guru to get from other devotees to pay for her plane tickets to Nepal. She would see nothing wrong with it, as in her eyes, they are ‘her friends’. So she feels clean about it. And in the same exchange, for which the full content of the exchange will later be published, she clearly calls the Google Groups ‘MY BLOGS’ and since they are “HER BLOGS” then definitely she can do what she wants with them. But at least it is important to know that is what they are. As the impression many of us had is that they were something for the community.

No such things as Live Videos exists, no real questions and answer sessions are regularly orgnized. Usually its like 10-15 min sessions that only happened 3 or 4 times, where the content has been filtered out to only portrait the meaningless questions and hide the rest. Projects used to be a big sections but as no project really ever completed it is just a section to portrait that there are things going on when all the projects have failed, the money wasted, the constructions destroyed, and the reasons for collecting the money were masking what the money were spent on.

Maitreya.info statement

by This personal website. | Feb 13, 2015
Commenting the statement of the website run by Mr Semyon.
As the maitreya.info website states it: “The dharma-sangha.com website is no longer representing officially Bodhi Shravan Dharma Sangha. The dharma-sangha.com site is a personal website. We strongly advise our readers to be careful with its content – it is not proper and is meant to create confusion. Soon a new website officially representing the Sanghas around the world will be launched.”
Let me decrypt this again, dharma-sangha.com already informed everyone on the 31st of Januara that it no longer represents that organization, we are the 13th of February, propaganda master Semyon, is not that good at reading information, please bare with him. Give him time… Dharma-sangha.com is a personal website, yes that is entirely true. Pretty much the only true part of that communique. Now ‘we strongly advise our readers’, good on you, very precious advice, “be careful with its content”, yes readers be careful, text and images are dangerous particularly when they are pointing at problems! “It is not proper”, no? what is proper is propaganda, lies, misrepresenting the reality, the organization, is that what is proper? In English-russian “Niet Good, Comrade”.

But the funniest part is that to the pile of lies and propaganda they have accumulated over the years, their answer to it is:

Yet another website!

I mean fantastic, wow! What a great solution! Please do not even try to re-examine yourselves, and your lies, but just create even more websites. Who knows, if there are enough websites, maybe then the readership will have more chances of not being confused.

Welcome to the mother of all confusion!
